November 5, 2014, 11 a.m. to1 p.m. Luncheon, Demonstration and Lecture and/or 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Cocktails and Discussion.

The Cummer is excited to welcome Kentucky native and gardening guru, Jon Carloftis, in November for a full day of programming.  Mr. Carloftis has been an award winning pioneer in America’s roof top and small space gardening, as well participating in the Edible Schoolyard Project on the mall in Washington, a one-acre garden to improve the eating habits of schoolchildren and promote sustainable agriculture.  Join The Museum in learning how to make your space a more beautiful green space to play, eat, and relax. Patrons are invited to enjoy a luncheon and lecture, an evening cocktail reception, or both! The 11 a.m. demonstration will be held in the Olmsted Garden and the 6:30 a.m. cocktails and discussion will be held in the Upper Tier Garden and Olmsted Garden.  In the event of poor weather, both events will be held in the Hixon Auditorium.

$65 Member/$75 Non-member (for day). $125 Member/ $135 Non-member (both day and evening). To attend all four sessions: Member $220, Non-member $260. RSVP by Friday, October 31, 2014 to make your required reservation.  Seating is limited.
