Lecture and Discussion

Join us for an in-depth study of the style and influences of Joseph Jeffers Dodge based on the works from the Joseph Jeffers Dodge: A Passion for Art exhibition featuring speaker Dr. Debra Murphy, Chair, Department of Art and Design at the University of North Florida. Dr. Murphy, author of Passion and Clarity The Art of Joseph Jeffers Dodge, will be available for book signing immediately following the lecture.

Figurative Drawing Workshop with Jim Draper

Join regionally renowned artist, Jim Draper, for an intensive drawing study of the human figure, utilizing a measured and formal approach, akin to the style of Joseph Jeffers Dodge in the Joseph Jeffers Dodge: A Passion for Art.  Draper will teach students how to render complex human forms with detail and accuracy.
