Tour Information

  • Curriculum tours are available Monday-Friday, from August 19 - May 22.
  • Tours are one and a half hours long. Tour times are from 9:30 AM-11:00 AM or 11:15 AM-12:45 PM. On certain days tours are offered from 1:00 PM-2:30 PM. If you require a tour time other than those listed please consult with the education staff.
  • Cost is $5.00 per student. This cost includes the gallery tour and the planned hands-on activities.
  • One free chaperone is required for every 10 students. Additional chaperones are $5.00 each.
  • A $50 non-refundable deposit is required within two months of tour date (non-receipt results in automatic cancellation). The remainder of the payment is due upon arrival.
  • After scheduling a tour, a pre-tour packet will be mailed to you. The packet includes information on your specific tour, images, pre- and post-visit lesson plans, links to standards, and resource lists. In order to gain the greatest benefit from the museum visit, we encourage teachers to use these materials before the scheduled field trip.
