Membership Volunteers
Membership Volunteers assist with the membership promotion throughout the Museum during special events and in the community for outreach support. They sell Memberships and assist Museum Members with information regarding Membership programs and events. These volunteers also serve as hosts at Member openings for exhibitions. Volunteers in this program must have strong customer service skills and a broad knowledge of the Museum's collections and resources. Computer proficiency is required and familiarity with a fund-raising database is preferred.
Behind-the-Scenes Volunteers
Behind-the-Scenes volunteers work throughout the Museum and off-site, where they perform any number of jobs, from special projects and clerical work to research. Opportunities also include providing customer service and safety in our exhibitions.

Commitment of Time
Must contribute at least 12 hours per month. Schedule is generally flexible but may include weekly or bi-weekly shifts.

Depending on the position, various skills are needed such as clerical, computer, research, and writing abilities.
