The Year of the Sheep refers to the Chinese calendar designation for 1967, the year Chamberlain served in the Vietnam War. Rendered in shades of black, white and gray, this series of work reveals mysterious and somehow unnervingly beautiful abstracted images that reference the landscape, the battles and the struggle of the Vietnam War.
