Canary in the Coalmine, an Americana-Folk band fronted by songwriters Jessica Pounds and Sandy Wicker, will headline the evening. A haunting quality underscores striking vocal harmonies that provide a focal point for the band’s Appalachian folk and alt country influences. Jessica and Sandy are proud to have joined forces with some of Jacksonville’s finest musicians, including Peter Mosely on upright bass and backing vocals, Philip Pan on violin,  Arvid Smith on dobro, mellobar, mandolin, and guitars and Eric Bailey on drums.  http://canaryinthecoalminemusic.com/music/

Four Families is a four-piece indie folk group from Jacksonville, Fl. They're inspired by themes of cultural tradition, historical observations, and social connectivity.  Come enjoy the sounds of Robin Rütenberg on vocals, guitar and mandolin, Naarah Strokosch on cello and keys, and Summer Wood on percussion.

The Jacksonville Old Time Jam is a collective of local musicians, led by Nathan Stinnette and David Strickland, who join forces with other musicians to enjoy the sounds of Bluegrass and Old Time while jamming together.  We will host some of their best musicians during the 6 to 7 p.m. hour.
