Community Day & Plant Sale

10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Enjoy the beauty of The Cummer Gardens with a full day of activities, including, a plant sale on the front lawn, live music from Tammerlin, and a terrarium making demonstration by Crystal Floyd from 12 to 2 p.m.  Plus, The Ixia Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society will be on hand to answer questions and offer information about planting and sustaining Native Plants in your home gardens.

Terrarium Making Workshop with Crystal Floyd

Please join local artist Crystal Floyd in a two hour workshop on how to construct and sustain a miniature greenscape.  You will take home your own terrarium, as well as the skills on how to create them.  Crystal is a resident artist at the Riverside artists’ district, CoRK, as well as an avid nature lover who loves working with found objects to construct three dimensional works of art. $75.00, includes all supplies.
