The Cummer Parking Lots are Closed for Renovation

The Cummer Parking lots are closed for renovation until April 2, 2013.  Visitors should park in front of the Lane Building or in the public parking spots on Post Street between the Museum and the Garden Club.  Additional street parking is located on May Street and Riverside Park Place.

The Cummer Museum is continuing Weaver First Saturday FREE FOR ALL on April 6, 2013.  Weaver First Saturday FREE FOR ALL offers free admission to the Museum for the entire community during the first Saturday of every month.  This new free-for-all celebration will continue on April 6th.  Guests can enjoy art-making activities in the gardens, live music, docent-led tours and more.

Cummer Cummelia Presentation: Creating Future Stars, Our Nassau County Students. This lecture will look at an enchanting watercolor documentation of Frieseke’s childhood memories of Florida. These beautiful watercolors are part of the Museum’s permanent collection. The talk will also explore the magic behind the Florida landscape at the turn of the century and the lure it held for artists.
