Dedicate a Brick

Olmsted Garden Restoration Rendering

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is pleased to announce the groundbreaking of our Olmsted Garden Restoration and Landscape Enhancement Project. The restoration of the Olmsted Garden will almost double the size of our historic gardens, bringing greater prominence to the City of Jacksonville and greater access to beauty for the entire community. Our Landscape Enhancement on Riverside Avenue will unify the entire campus through sustainable landscape design, a public sculpture garden, parking lot beautification and outdoor café seating.

We want the front of The Cummer to be as beautiful and accessible as our historic gardens on the St. Johns River. This part of the project is important because it sets the first impression for our visitors and raises the visibility of The Cummer to those who walk, jog or drive down Riverside Avenue. To that end we have launched the Dedicate a Brick Campaign. Dedicate a Brick provides an opportunity for hundreds of individuals to have an engraved brick in the gathering plaza of the green lot across from our entrance.

Please join this effort and purchase bricks to add your name or the name of someone who has made a difference in your life to The Cummer Campus. Funds from the campaign support the mission of The Cummer, to engage and inspire through the arts, gardens and education. Bricks will be installed starting in the spring when the parking lot is complete and the Olmsted Garden is unveiled.

Click here to place your order online. If you prefer to order by mail, click here to download and review the brick campaign order form. This form can be completed and mailed with your payment to the Museum. If you have any questions or want to order bricks by phone, please call Kenyon Merritt at 904.899.6025.

Thank you for your support!
